Strasbourg Strip Searched at Strasbourg Airport All and all there was very little I missed about Strasbourg. My daughter being strip search at the Strasbourg Airport during her return to the city to pick up our dog was pretty much par for the course for the city that for centuries did not let women within the city limits. Cheap Haircut in Strasbourg The worst haircut I have ever gotten. I asked for a bob and ended up with hair two inches long... and giggles from the staff. Yes, the French have earned their poor reputation fair and square. Nato Badges Needed in Strasbourg We needed to get badges to reside in the city during Obama's visit to Strasbourg. Protest in Strasbourg The French love to protest. Anything. Anytime. Anywhere. A protest is their right and damned if they won't do it on a regular basis. NATO in Strasbourg Strasbourg is considered the "European Capital" and an 'International City' which means is that it is regularly filled with snobby diplomats who allow the city to always over-charge at the restaurants and hotels while the city crawls with undercover and clandestine activities. The Strasbourg Tram Sophie was actually hit by the tram. She was crossing the street, didn't see it and the tram ran right instead of slowing down. Thankfully she was alright. Due to city politics the second steeple was never constructed. It took hundreds of years to build the Strasbourg cathedral and yet, they never bothered finishing it. Life is Like Blurry Pictures Strasbourg: Closing Down Christmas While Strasbourg's over-crowded Christmas attracts tourists from near and far one might better enjoy the Christmas Market in Brugge, Belgium. It's truly lovely, quaint and worth the visit. Strasbourg: Snowy Bicycle Parking Winter might not be the best time for bike riding around the city of Strasbourg. Since cars are not allowed in the city center the preferred modes of transportation are walking or the tram.

Too Damn Cold Fireworks Flailing Frivilously I strongly suggest against visiting Strasbourg during times of holiday celebration - such as the New Year - as locals somehow find it acceptable to throw firecrackers out their windows wrecklessly endangering innocent by-passers. Kids Clothing in Strasbourg Many of the stores in the middle of the city are the same stores I've seen in the States. Dracula's Cathedrale de Strasbourg France Maybe Dracula ate the decision makers and that's why the Cathedral only has one steeple? Snobby, unfriendly service just made it impossible. Like a lot of places in France, the decor is fine it's the French that are very intentionally the problem.
